Rare Photos of Niagara Falls Surface

Some rare photos have surfaced of Niagara Falls. In June of 1969, U.S. engineers diverted the flow of the Niagara River so they could get rid of rocks that climbed halfway up the base of the falls... but the plan had to be scrapped because of how much it cost. While the falls were dry, a man stepped out and took some amazing photographs of what it looks like without all the water. You can view the photos here.
