National Guard troops and sandbags are being dispatched to shoreline communities in Wayne, Monroe and Niagara counties.

Emergency Services Director for Niagara County Jonathon Schultz says, "we're seeing the rise on a daily basis."

The Army Corp. of Engineers insist Lake Ontario water levels have risen six inches over the last month and are expected to rise another 11 as temperatures rise.

Meanwhile, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is sending resources to the surrounding communities.  Crews with Niagara County Emergency Services are staging equipment and supplies in various locations across the county.
