Push For Release of Attica Prison Break Records

The whistle blower in the 1971 Attica, New York prison uprising is still pushing for all the records to be released-- 4 decades later.
Ex-prosecutor Malcom Bell, now 82, has filed papers in support of opening the long-sealed investigation that left 29 inmates and 10 prison staff members dead. He also updated his 1985 book on the case, saying quote "the best way to cover something up is to investigate it." A state judge ruled in April that Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who has the last 2 volumes on the investigation, can make it public-- but so far, no release yet.
