150 People showed up at a Batavia City Council meeting this week.

They demanded lawmakers write a letter in opposition to Governor Cuomo's Reproductive Health Act, saying it opens the door to late-term abortions.

The bill codifies Roe V. Wade.

Some of those in attendance called for Batavia to be declared "a sanctuary city for the unborn."

City council took no action but will discuss the matter further at their next meeting on February 25th.
