Both Democrats and Republicans will pick their candidates for the newly drawn congretional districts and the G-O-P will select a challenger to Democratic incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand in the U-S Senate. Polls show Congressman Bob Turner with a lead over Republican rivals Wendy Long and George Maragos. Experts predict turnout will be light, given the fact that June Primaries are rare and with school out for summer, many families are on vacation.
