President Obama Names New Consumer Watchdog

President Obama has announced he will buck G-O-P opposition and name Richard Cordray as the nation's new chief consumer watchdog.....even though the U-S Senate shot down his nomination.
As director of the newly-created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ....Cordray will be able to start overseeing mortgage companies, debt collectors and other financial companies who have been blamed for tanking the economy.
