A computer glitch caused the shutdown of a nuclear reactor at a power plant in northeastern Pennsylvania this morning. Plant owner PPL says the Unit 2 Reactor at its Susquehanna nuclear plant near Berwick in Columbia County was safely shut down, after the computer system that controls the reactor's water level failed to work properly. There was no public danger.
