Bill Barner and his daughter Amanda Hoy live in McElhattan, Pennsylvania. It appears that Amanda, while cleaning out her grandparent's house, may have found an old copy of the Declaration of Independance. Barner told WNEP TV "she called me up, and said 'dad, I know how much you like old things, but you're not going to believe what I think I have.' " The document appears to have the signatures of John Hancock and the founding fathers. There were only about 200 copies of the Declaration made, and the last one to be found, in London, sold at auction for 8 million dollars in 2000. Experts at Lycoming College are looking though the Pennsylvania document to see if its the real thing.
