Pennsylvania Makes Major Decision on Gun Issue

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge to a Pittsburgh law that fines people $500 for not reporting a stolen handgun within 24 hours. The National Rifle Association had argued that the law essentially requires people to maintain a gun inventory, something state and federal firearms laws do not require. However, the court tossed the case, meaning the earlier ruling still stands.
