Pennsylvania Logs Another Swine Flu Case

09.03.12 | Sarah Harnisch

There are now 2 confirmed cases of swine flu in Pennsylvania, and a third possible case among children who had contact with pigs at the Somerset County fair in western Pennsylvania. That fair was held august 18th to 25th in Meyersdale. The strain is new, and only transmitted by people handling live pigs. It's the same virus that was blamed for sickening 10 people at the Huntingdon county fair in western Pennsylvania last month.
