PENNDOT Reports Low Number of Highway Deaths

04.09.14 | Sarah Harnisch

Pennsylvania recorded the lowest number of highway deaths ever last year.  Penn-dot says just over 12-hundred people were killed on highways in the Commonwealth.  That's the lowest number since official record keeping began in 1928.
Police credit the good news to increased use of seat-belts and a sharp reduction in the amount of d-w-i offenses.
