Paterson Denies Leaks

Governor David Paterson wants to put all of the talk about who on his staff leaked damaging information about Caroline Kennedy -- and if he authorized it -- to rest. Right after Kennedy withdrew her name from consideration, it was reported she had possible tax, nanny, and marital issues.

The New York Post reports a high level staffer leaked the story -- and maintains the governor must have authorized it. Paterson denies he did so, and adds he condemns all of the rumors. Paterson took questions about the leaks during a news conference on Tuesday, and says this will be the last time he addresses the issue.
