Paterno Estate Fights Records Subpoena

Joe Paterno's estate, in a new court filing seeking access to records that may go to the heart of its fight to overturn PCAA sanctions against Penn State, argues the university can't be allowed to selectively share its Freeh report files on the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. Penn state, as a named defendant in the suit, is fighting a records subpoena for ex-FBI director Louis Freeh's law firm, arguing that the work Freeh and his colleagues did for PSU trustees is protected by attorney-client privilege.
