P.A.'s Labor Law Is Getting A Makeover

   Pennsylvania's 100 year old Child Labor Law Is Getting a Makeover. Lawmakers in Harrisburg want to simplify the law's language to make it easier for employers to comply.  Under the GOP plan, the hours children under the age of 18 can work would be increased to 48 per week.  That provision faces strong opposition from the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.
