PA's Attorney General says Sandusky scandal delayed by lost emails

Pennsylvania’s Attorney General says erased emails has hampered her investigation into tom Corbett's handling of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Democrat Kathleen Kane says a time-consuming effort to reconstruct erased e-mail messages has delayed her inquiry into the governor’s investigation of Sandusky.  It took almost three years between the time the charges came to light and the former Penn State football coach was arrested in November of 2011. He was tried a year later and sentenced to life in prison for abusing young boys. At issue is whether Corbett delayed the investigation to get past the November 2010 election when he defeated Democrat Dan Onorato. Corbett has repeatedly defended his probe, saying he did not tell anyone to delay it.
