Two Pennsylvania lawmakers have introduced legislation that would require schools test their drinking water every year.

State representatives Karen Boback and Patrick Harkins say their proposal helps address the threat of lead.

The past few years, Pennsylvania has been tops in the nation when it comes to elevated lead levels at schools and daycares.

This legislation requires test results be shared with parents.
