P.A. Newspaper Backs Restaurant That Gives Discounts To Christians
07.23.12 |
A Pennsylvania newspaper is standing up for a restaurant that offers Christians a discount. An atheist activist filed a complaint against the Lost Cajun Restaurant for discrimination after it offered a 10-percent discount off meals for customers who brought in a church bulletin from that week. The editorial board of the "York Daily Record' responded by printed an article in the restaurant's defense, calling the complaint small and petty-- and, saying "it seems like so many atheist complaints, designed to draw attention to oneself rather then the right a serious constitutional wrong." The complaint has to go before a public hearing and a panel before a decision is made on whether or not it's discriminating for Christians to get a discount.
