Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection is asking for public review and comments on a draft plan of 15 recommended strategies that could increase in-state solar energy development to supply 10% of electricity in the state by the year 2030.

To meet this goal, Pennsylvania needs to install about 11 gigawatts of solar energy.  That's a significant increase from the roughly 300 megawatts currently installed in the state.
