One Sandusky Appeal Down, More Likely to Come

Jerry Sandusky's latest attempt for a new trial is unsuccessful. Sandusky lawyers claimed they didn't have enough time to prepare for his first trial. Those motions were all denied by a Pennsylvania judge who said more time wouldn't have changed the outcome of the trial. His ruling means Sandusky, 69, will remain in state prison, where he is serving a 30- to 60-year sentence. It could also set the stage for future appeals.
