State Senator Scott Wagner says schools may not be around four years from now because union bosses are driving then into bankruptcy.

This, after the state system of higher education asked for a funding increase of $73 million.

Ken Marshall with the Pennsylvania System of Higher Education says, "what we're asking for is what we need to meet current obligations."

Wagner says the system's spending is out of control, and taxpayers should stop pumping money into it.
