NY releases Half of Common Core Exam Questions

New York education officials have released half of the questions from this years' common core math and English exams.... five months after critics complained they were confusing and loaded with brand name references that looked like product placement.
Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch says the questions reflect the rigor and depth of learning standards but critics argue the questions show just how flawed the tests were.
Public education watchdogs are now calling on the state to release all the questions from the spring-time tests. Scores from those tests will be released later this month.
