NY, PA Police Cracking Down On Drivers This Week

08.22.14 | Sarah Harnisch

We're a week away from the Labor Day holiday, and you'd better be careful if you're driving along the New York Pennsylvania border. Pennsylvania and New York police say they're upping their patrols during the Nationwide Impaired Driving Crackdown campaign: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. But they won't hesistate to pull someone over who's speeding or on their phone, too. The campaign kicked off Wednesday and runs all the way through September 1st. Officers from both states will be coordinating sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols; some in unmarked cars.
