NY officials have given Syracuse's New Hope adoption agency an ultimatum

State authorities are asking the faith-based family services agency to allow homosexual couples to adopt or be shut down.

The church-funded agency only places children with married heterosexual couples...a policy opposed by New York state's Office of Children and Family Services.

Since 1965, New Hope's mission is "to be Christ's hands extended to offer hope and help to people with pregnancy, parenting, adoption or post-abortion needs."

Alliance Defending Freedom is now representing New Hope, and has urged a federal court to stop targeting the agency.
