NY Bill Could Curb Explicit Photo Sharing

06.12.14 | Sarah Harnisch

A bill that would make it illegal to share explicit photos of an ex passed the New York State Senate Wednesday.
The bill would require a person's explicit consent before revealing photos could be posted online. Under the proposed law, someone who posts explicit pictures of an ex could face up to a year in jail for the first offense. The bill now heads to the state assembly.
