Nobel Medicene Prize Goes To Scientists Who Fought To Preserve Embyros

The Nobel prize for medicene was awarded Monday. It went to British Researcher John Gurdon and Shinya Yamanaka of Japan for discovering that mature, specialized cells in the body can be reprogrammed into stem cells, a discovery scientists hope to use to treat Parkinsons, and possibly cancer, without destroying embryos.
