Governor Andrew Cuomo will go to Israel to talk about economic-development opportunities and display solidarity amid a rise in antisemitism in New York and the U.S.

In two speeches Wednesday, Cuomo pledged unity with Jews in New York and condemned bomb threats at Jewish community centers, including in Albany, Buffalo, Syracuse and Westchester.

The governor says the bomb threats showed "cowardice."

Since taking office in 2011, this will be Cuomo's second trip to Israel.
