New York to Build Masive Medical Database

 New York is quietly building one of the nation's largest computer databases of medical records-- a system that, when finished, will allow patients and doctors to see complete health histories in one place. 71 percent of New York's hospitals and 20 percent of its 67-thousand doctors are now linked to the regional exchanges-- and a pilot program for patient access will start this summer at 2 hospitals that haven't been named yet.
