It's no snowstorm, but Frewsburg and West Valley in the western part of the state logged 2-tenths of an inch. That's enough to log an official tally. On average, Buffalo usually sees its first snowflakes in late October, and the first measurable snowfall on November 7th. They're still waiting. Buffalo shouldn't see much snow, but the central part of New York and the Twin Tiers could get some from a Nor'easter at the end of this week, on Thursday.
