New Poll Shows Obama, Romney Are In A Statistical Dead Heat
06.21.12 |
Who will be the next President of the United States? If the election were held today, it would be a nail biter. A poll out by the Associated Press and G.F.K. found both President Obama and his challenger Mitt Romney are statistically tied, at 47-percent for Obama and 44-percent for Romney. With statistical error factored in, that's a virtual tie. The economy remains the president's top liability. Pollster Jim Kuhnhenn says "there's still a belief within the public that this is something that he inherited, that it's not his doing. Many believe he inherited the economy, but did not create it. I think that's an attitude that's tempered many Americans views of the President." There are just five months until the election.
