Nearly A Dozen Upstate Villages Make List of Best Small Town In America

Now it's not just Hammondsport-- but also Penn Yann and Naples-- that are vying for a travel magazine's "Coolest Small Town" in America award. Budget Travel ranks Penn Yann, at the top of Keuka Lake, is in 1st place in the nation. Naples is in second place right now. And Hammondsport-- at the bottom of Keuka Lake-- is sitting in 5th place. Business owners say they welcome the publicity-- whether they win or not.
