National Institutes Of Health Tells Parents To Test 9-Year-Old Kids For High Cholesterol

  New guidelines are out urging parents to test their kids for cholesterol. The National Institutes of Health says children ages nine to eleven should be screened to avoid the development of heart disease.  The American Academy of Pediatrics also supports the screening as the child obesity epidemic worsens. Previously, only youngsters with a family history of heart disease or cholesterol problems were recommended for screening.
