More Aid On The Way For Lee And Irene Victims

The federal government is going to buy out 646 New York homes after Hurricanes Lee and Irene, and now, more money could be on the way to help recovering upstate areas. Governor Cuomo is proposing 400 million dollars in state aid to buy out resident's homes that were flattened after Hurricane Sandy, but a part of that money will go to recovery in the Southern Tier, too. It includes cash for Broome and Tioga counties.
