New York Republican candidate for governor, Marc Molinaro, is promising to cut property taxes by almost 30% if elected.

He told a group of upstate business leaders he would also make Governor Cuomo's 2% property tax cap permanent and expand it to New York City.

The current Dutchess County executive is also calling for a complete state takeover of medicaid costs.
