Merry Christmas Ban in Batavia

11.25.11 | Bob Price

Parents in the Batavia, NY school district are upset with a new school policy that bans the public display of Christmas.
Teachers are being asked not to even say .....Merry Christmas.
A Batavia school board member says the Merry Christmas ban was enacted in 2001, but several in the district say this is the first time it's been enforced.  Teachers will be allowed to have multi-cultural celebrations, instead of Christmas parties.
