Medical Marijuana Focus at Keystone Cannibus Rally

04.01.14 | Bill Price

Speakers at the Keystone Cannibus reform rally urged lawmakers to allow the use of the drug for medical purposes, to allow for the production of industrial hemp and they want recreational marijuana decriminalized. The bill's sponsor Daylin Leach says he has the support he needs to pass it, but Governor Tom Corbett has signaled his opposition to it. Those in favor of changing Pennsylvania's marijuana laws say the move could help cure several diseases. However, opponents say it will open the flood gates to drug addiction.
