A man in Boston paid off his mortgage with 800 pounds of pennies this week.  Thomas Daigle said he started collecting them when it was rainy outside in Boston and rolling them into coin holders.  Then, on his 35th wedding anniversary, he and his wife took it all to the Milford Federal Savings and Loan and paid their mortgage off. Daigle's advice to young couples was to stick to your financial plans. He also said he no longer keeps change in the house.
