Maine-Endwell advances in Little League World Series with win over Tennessee

Maine-Endwell took on Southeast Champion Goodlettsville, Tennessee in the second round of the Little League World Series Monday afternoon.

Maine-Endwell beat Tennessee 3-1.

Ryan Harlost kicked things off at the bottom of the 1st inning with a two-run home run deep to center, bringing Maine-Endwell to an early 2-0 lead.

Maine-Endwell bumped their lead up to 3-0 in the 3rd inning when Michael Mancini scored on a wild pitch.

Tennessee scored a home run in the top of the 6th, bringing the score to 3-1.

With this win, Maine-Endwell moves to 21-0 in the season.

The game was originally scheduled to be played Sunday afternoon, but was delayed due to weather.

Maine-Endwell won their Little League World Series opener on Thursday against Rhode Island, 7-2.

Their next game will be played Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN.

They will be taking on the winner of the game between Kentucky and Iowa.
