Mail Scare at PA Capitol

Part of the Pennsylvania Capitol was shut down for an hour yesterday after a suspicious looking envelope arrived in the governor's mail. A clerk in the mailroom discovered white powder leaking from the envelope, and police ordered the evacuation of a dozen people from that section of the capitol.

A spokesperson for Ed Rendell says the envelope had a Texas postmark on it. It is similar to notes mailed to 40 other governors across the country. Authorities say the powder was not dangerous.
