The College at Brockport was approved this week for the Start-Up NY program. The program gives tax breaks to businesses that build on or near approved college campuses. Companies selected for the scheme  won't pay any state or local taxes for 10 years, including property, income, business, corporate or sales taxes. The goal is to connect hiring employers with recent grads. The program also provides internship locations for students. The College at Brockport has 200 undeveloped acres for businesses to build on.
