The group believes if this went up for a vote, it wouldn't make it through -- much like what happened with Prop 8 in California. New York's gay marriage law was decided only by the governor and lawmakers. Now, the pro-family coalition is leading an event called "Let the People Vote." They'll be holding marches and rallies across the state next Sunday in Manhattan, Albany, Buffalo, and Rochester at 3 P.M. They say they want New Yorkers to make the final call on the definition of marriage.
