Leading Pro-Life Advocate Dies

One of the nation's leading pro-life activists-- has died of cancer-- at the age of 84. Dr. Bernard Nathanson's story is well known. He was the last surviving founder of N.A.R.A.L., which was started to promote abortion. He oversaw 75 thousand abortions before having a change of heart and becoming a prominent pro-life activist. Nathanson's clinic was open from 8 a.m. till midnight every day in New York City. He had 35 doctors and 85 nurses do 120 abortions a day. Nathanson said the use of ultrasound images changed his perspective. He died of cancer in his Manhattan home last night with his wife by his side.
