Judge Says NY Gun Law Does Not Violate Second Amendment

A trial judge in Albany has ruled that New York's new gun law does not violate the second amendment. The decision, announced from state supreme justice Thomas McNamara, rejects legal claims that the gun law was improperly pushed through the legislature by the governor. The law bans high capacity magazines and many semi-automatic firearms. Gun rights groups plan to appeal to the State Court of Appeals, New York's highest court.
