Felicity Aston is the first person - man or woman to ski alone across the icy continent.  She did it without dogs, sails, or any power other than her own muscles.
Aston skiied one-thousand-and-84 miles for 59 days, up a glacier, over mountains, against the winds - all the way to the south pole.
The 34 year-old is a meterologist, stationed in Antarctica and has led ski trips on both poles as well as Greenland.
