Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett is expected to sign a bill this week that would give victims of sexual violence the ability to ask a judge for a protective order that could bar perpetrators from calling, visiting, or contacting them. The senate voted unanimously for the bill last week; the house unanimously approved it earlier in the month. It will take effect in September.
