Gas Prices To Continue Going Up In August

Gas prices are up 17 cents in july, and August could be worst. New York is averaging $3.78 a gallon for gas, Pennsylvania, $3.53. Gas climbed 17 cents over 26 consecutive days in July, the biggest July jump since 2000. Gas buddy.com tells us not to complain. They say some states have seen a 50 cent increase, like Hawaii, Alaska and Connecticut. They say August prices are likely to climb more before dropping off at Labor Day because people are buying more gas right now.
