Gas Prices Drop For A Twelfth Straight Day, Just In Time for Memorial Day

Reports of 5-dollar a gallon gasoline by Memorial Day proved to be greatly exaggerated.  Triple-A reports the price of a gallon of gas fell another 4-tenths of a cent overnight. That's the 12th straight day prices fell. It's good news for 31-million Americans driving more then 50-miles this Memorial Day weekend. The price in New York is averaging 3-87, and it's 3-57 in Pennsylvania. Some analysts predict, though, the prices you see this weekend are as good as they'll get for the summer.
