Fruit Recall Hits New York

07.22.14 | Sarah Harnisch

A national recall of peaches, nectarines and plums has affected grocers nationwide-- and now is hitting Trader Joe's and Wegmans. Both are removing from their stores a variety of fruit packaged by a California firm that showed possible contamination with listeria-- which can be a life-threatening illness. It affects organic and non organic peaches, nectarines and plums sold between June 1st and July 20th.
