Former Mayor of Syracuse Passes Away at 98

A former mayor of Syracuse has died. He was 2 years shy of being 100 years old. Republican William Walsh was 98 years old when he passed. He served 2 terms as mayor in the 1960's and represented the state in the U.S. House from 1973 to 1979. Walsh was born when there were covered wagons, yet witnessed space shuttles and hybrid cars. He and his wife were married 50 years and they raised 7 children together.
