FLN Gears Up For Fall Concerts

08.13.09 | Cecil Van Houten

Family Life Network is sponsoring a huge fall lineup of concerts across our listening area, featuring some of the top groups in Christian music.  We're excited to bring these artists and their ministries to your community in the coming months.

It starts with popular Christian comedienne Chonda Pierce, who will be appearing in three concerts:  Friday, September 11 at First Bible Baptist Church in Hilton; Saturday, September 12, at Reg Lenna Auditorium in Jamestown, and Sunday, September 13 at the Kirby Center in Wilkes Barre.  These shows are sure to sell out so get your tickets early!

Later that week, FLN is bringing the "Come Alive" Tour with Mark Schultz and Point of Grace to Bradford (Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7 pm at the Bradford High School), Hamburg (Friday, Sept. 18 at 7 pm at the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg) and Johnson City (Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7 pm at First Baptist Church).  Mark has just released a new record with some great songs on it and Point of Grace is enjoying the success of their most recent album, "How You Live".  This is one of the top tours this fall so you don't want to miss these great artists.

In October, FLN is once again sponsoring three "Ladies Night Out" concerts featuring singer-songwriter Jamie Jamgochian.  Jamie is a gifted writer, singer and worship leader and you'll be blessed by her ministry in the Word and song.  The dates and times are Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7 pm at the Tri-County Church in Dubois, Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 pm at City Church in Batavia and Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7 pm at Grace Christian Fellowship in Cortland.

Later that month, we're pleased to welcome two great vocal groups, both of whom have long-standing reputations and well-deserved followings across the FLN listening area.  Selah and Avalon will appear together Thursday, October 29 at 7 pm at Attica High School in Attica, Friday, October 30 at 7 pm at the Clemens Center in Elmira, and Saturday, October 31 at 7 pm at Auburn High School in Auburn.  Each group will feature favorites and material from their new records, then they'll combine their efforts to do some songs and arrangements unique to this tour.  It's another concert you won't want to miss!
