Fisher Price recalled around ten-million toys today because of safety concerns.  First on the list is two-point-eight-million Fisher Price play areas with inflatable balls.  The valve from the balls can come off and become a choking hazard.  So far, 46 people have filed reports of this happening.  The toy maker says in 14 of the incidents, the valve was found in the child's mouth.  In three reports, the child began to choke.  However, no injuries have been reported.

More than seven-million tricycles have also been recalled because a protruding part on the bike could cut children.  The toy maker says its aware of ten incidents where a child was hurt.  Of those six incidents required medical attention.  Another item on the recall list are 120-thousand small car toys.  There have been at least two incidents where the wheels have come off and posed a possible choking hazard.  

Along with the toys, Fisher Price recalled almost a million high chairs after receiving 14 reports of children being cut by the high chair's legs.  In seven of those cases, the children needed stitches.  Consumers can call the Fisher Price hotline at 1-800-432-5437 to get more information on the recalls.
